Stewardship
Do not store
up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume, and where
thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth and nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in
and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. -
Matthew 6: 19-21.
Stewardship is the care and use of all that we
have been given by God, which includes our money, talents and time.
Financial Stewardship
At St. Luke’s, we count on financial pledges
to help us continue Christ’s work in our community. Financial gifts help us
serve those in need, provide programs and services to our faith community, and
maintain our facilities. If you haven't sent in your pledge card we
prayerfully ask that you pray to God on this and let Him help you make your
decision.
Giving Time and Talents
Members of our parish give of their time and
talents in numerous ways – serving as ushers and greeters for worship, Altar
Guild Sunday School teachers, choir members, volunteers on committees, serving
as acolytes, flower arrangers, the list goes on and on. If you would like
information about the above, please call the Church Office at (215) 968-2781
