        The Rev. Charles Franklin Kelbaugh

Born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania Dec. 2 1931.  Father Kelbaugh graduated from Geneva /college with a BA in 1953. He graduated from the Philadelphia Divinity School in 1956 with a Th.M. He was ordained a deacon in June 1956 and then ordained to the priesthood January, 20, 1957.  

In 1956 he served as a curate at St. Mark's Frankford. From 1956-1958 he served as Missionary Assistant, then Priest in Charge of Old St. Peter's in Philadelphia. From 1958-1967 he was Vicar, then Rector of the Church of the Holy Sacrament, Upper Darby. 

In 1967 Father became Rector of Emmanuel Church, Holmesburg in Northeast Philadelphia until he retired in 1997.  During that time he served on many diocesan committees, a few of which he still serves on as a board member.

Upon retirement he moved to Buckingham Springs with his wife Marianne and joined St. Luke's Church, a loving, caring, faithful, worshipping community which they are pleased to belong to. 

Father and Marianne have five children Charles, David, Mark, Karen and Janice. 

Father continues to do Sunday supply work around the diocese, but particularly enjoys serving at St. Luke's.
